About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lambeth on a full‑time, five‑day‑a‑week basis. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ academic, social and emotional development while growing your own career in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Support pupils with academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff and parents to monitor and promote pupil progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
- Proactive, patient and positive attitude.
- A degree is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
