Learning Support Assistant – Inclusive Education

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive further‑education college serving the Crewe, Northwich and Winsford area. In this full‑time permanent position you will work closely with learners who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to learners with SEND.
• Assist in the delivery and monitoring of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual learning plans.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCO to promote inclusion and track learner progress.
• Help learners overcome barriers, build confidence and develop independence.

Required profile

• Experience supporting learners with additional needs (SEND).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support young people.
• At least an A Level 2 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
