About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a classroom in Ongar, Essex. The role involves supporting teachers and pupils, particularly those with special educational needs, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to teachers within the classroom.
- Assist pupils with SEN needs to ensure they can access the curriculum.
- Help manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviour.
Required profile
- Experience working in a classroom setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN needs.
- Comfortable managing challenging behaviour.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references.
