About the role
This full‑time position supports children with additional needs in a vibrant primary school in Salisbury. You will work directly with pupils, helping them overcome learning barriers and develop social skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group academic support tailored to each child’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, educational psychologists and other professionals to implement personalised education plans.
- Create and adapt learning materials that enable pupils to succeed in a mainstream classroom.
- Foster an engaging, inclusive environment that encourages participation and confidence.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Caring, patient and dedicated attitude.
- Ability to build empathetic relationships and adapt approaches for individual learners.
- Strong teamwork skills to work closely with teaching staff and specialists.
