Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (Term‑time, Part‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a caring Learning Support Assistant to work alongside an experienced colleague in a vibrant primary school. You will support a Year 3 pupil with autism spectrum disorder, helping them access the curriculum and enjoy a structured, supportive school day.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the pupil in accessing classroom learning and activities.
- Provide reassurance and encourage positive social interactions.
- Maintain clear routines and structure throughout the day.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver consistent academic and social support.
Required profile
- Calm, patient and caring attitude.
- Commitment to making a positive impact on a child’s school experience.
- Willingness to work term‑time only, Monday‑Friday, 8:45 am‑3:45 pm.
