Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools (Romford)

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a Candidate Pool for September 2026 placements across primary schools in Havering, including Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham. You will help pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored, inclusive support in a welcoming school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils who need additional assistance.
• Support small groups of students, reinforcing classroom learning.
• Work with children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs.
• Assist class teachers and SENCOs with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in supporting children with additional needs.
• A caring, patient and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of behaviour support strategies.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Availability from September 2026.
