Learning Support Assistant (Primary) – Temporary

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with schools across Medway and Mid Kent to recruit enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants for primary settings. You will work directly with pupils to support their learning, boost confidence, and help them achieve their best.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils in Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and individualized learning plans.
• Cover day‑to‑day supply, short‑term absences, and longer‑term placements as needed.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and patient individual with experience supporting children (school‑based or transferable).
• Team‑player who is caring, proactive and dedicated to pupil progress.
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their best.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; focus is on interpersonal and supportive abilities.
