Learning Support Assistant – Recruitment Event

About the role

Reed is hosting a recruitment event for a Learning Support Assistant position based in Uxbridge. The role starts in September and offers a supportive environment for individuals who enjoy helping students succeed in classroom and workplace settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to learners.
• Assist students with integration into classroom and workplace environments.
• Collaborate with course tutors and staff to promote student development.
• Complete termly reviews and maintain accurate progress records.
• Administer medication following training and established procedures.
• Supervise students during breaks and lunch periods.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, compassionate and patient attitude.
• Willingness to complete mandatory two‑day Team Teach training (fully funded).
• Ability to work a minimum of four days per week, 7 hours per day.
• Commitment to start the role in September after successful onboarding.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
• Capability to follow medication administration protocols.
