Learning Support Assistant – Redbridge, East London

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Redbridge, East London. The role starts in September 2026 and provides 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted interventions for students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and behavioural needs.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and promote inclusive learning.
- Facilitate small‑group activities that reinforce classroom teaching.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with both students and staff.
Required profile
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to the role.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references.
