Learning Support Assistant – Secondary SEND School

About the role
This position supports young people aged 11‑19 with Special Educational Needs (SEND) in a specialist secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham. You will work alongside teachers to help students develop academic, life and independence skills.
Key responsibilities
- Support learning in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
- Promote independence and assist students in developing daily living skills.
- Provide tailored support for a range of needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties, speech & language, ADHD and social communication challenges.
Required profile
- Graduates or individuals with experience as teaching assistants, support workers, care workers or youth workers.
- Passion for working with SEND students and a commitment to their progress.
