Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Schools (West London)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join specialist schools across West London. This role offers the chance to work directly with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group classroom support for pupils with ASC, ADHD, SLCN, severe learning difficulties, SEMH, and complex medical or physical needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and assist with sensory or therapeutic activities as required.
• Encourage independence, communication, and personal development through tailored activities.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and help create an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not mandatory.
• Graduates, carers or individuals with transferable skills are welcome to apply.
• Commitment to full‑time, temporary placement within a school setting.
