Leasehold Officer – Property Management (Temporary)

About the role

The Leasehold Officer will manage all aspects of leasehold properties for a not‑for‑profit housing organisation in the Manchester area. This full‑time, temporary position offers the chance to work directly with leaseholders and support the property department’s day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage leaseholder accounts, including service charges and ground rents.
• Ensure compliance with lease agreements and relevant legislation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for leaseholders, handling queries and concerns.
• Prepare and distribute service charge statements and related documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair works with contractors and leaseholders.
• Investigate and resolve disputes or complaints promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of leasehold properties and agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth property operations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in property management or leasehold services.
• Strong knowledge of lease agreements and property legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Proactive approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
