Lecturer – Building Services Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Building Services Engineering to join our Leeds campus. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, delivering teaching at National and Higher National levels within the Construction and Built Environment faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lectures, workshops and practical sessions on subjects such as Electrical Design, Installation and Sustainable Construction.
• Develop teaching materials, assessments and curriculum aligned with industry standards.
• Provide academic support and feedback to students, monitoring their progress.
• Contribute to departmental development and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Relevant industry experience in building services engineering.
• Strong communication skills with adults and young learners.
• Willingness to obtain a Certificate in Education (teacher training provided if needed).
• Experience of teaching at National or Higher National level is desirable.
