Lecturer in Business – September 2026 Talent Pipeline

About the role

The Lecturer in Business will join the academic team at Bath Spa’s Canary Wharf campus as part of the September 2026 Talent Pipeline Initiative. You will deliver high‑quality teaching and support for foundation and undergraduate Business programmes, contributing to student progression and programme development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lectures and tutorials across Business modules.
• Provide academic support, including final‑year supervision and timely formative feedback.
• Mark assessments and produce summative feedback within prescribed deadlines.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of courses.
• Coordinate with staff and students to understand learning needs and adjust teaching methods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant Business discipline.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience in UK higher or further education.
• Experience planning and delivering teaching using a range of higher‑education methods.
• Proven ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and manage workload independently.

Required skills

• Experience with Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) to support student learning.
• Strong digital literacy and use of learning technologies and academic systems.
