About the role
North Kent College is seeking a passionate Lecturer in Health to join its curriculum team at the Tonbridge campus for the 2026/27 academic year. You will inspire learners, deliver high‑quality teaching across multiple health qualifications, and help shape the next generation of health professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons on health‑related subjects, including Anatomy and Physiology.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high teaching standards.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure alignment with industry standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Manage deadlines proactively while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
Required profile
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, deadline‑driven and able to maintain high standards of delivery.
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about current healthcare practices.
- Relevant health‑related qualification and ability to teach Anatomy and Physiology.
- Nursing qualification and experience highly desirable.
Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £38,049 to £45,445 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time role: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
- On‑site work at the modern Tonbridge campus.
