Lecturer in Multi Trades – Full‑time

About the role

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a full‑time Lecturer in Multi Trades for its Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley College. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners studying a Level 1 Multi Trade Qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for the Multi Trade curriculum.
• Set individual student targets and conduct regular assessments.
• Provide academic and pastoral tutoring, including support for learners with behavioural or educational difficulties.
• Maintain accurate student records and report progress.
• Collaborate with parents, employers and colleagues to support learner development.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant trade sector.
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• Experience teaching learners with behavioural and educational needs.
• Ability to embed functional English and maths skills into the vocational curriculum.
• Level 4 or Level 5 teaching qualification (highly desirable).
