Lecturer in Pathways (Variable Hours)

About the role

This flexible, variable‑hours position is designed for professionals who want to support learners with additional needs and help them achieve independence, employability and personal growth. You will join a dedicated team that delivers inclusive Pathways programmes in Salisbury, balancing your professional commitments with meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Pathways programmes for learners with a range of educational and additional support needs.
• Plan and deliver personalised learning activities that develop independence, communication, employability, life skills and social development.
• Support learners to meet individual targets and achieve recognised qualifications where appropriate.
• Create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence and progression.
• Collaborate with support staff, parents/carers and external partners to ensure holistic learner support.

Required profile

• Passion for helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
• Experience supporting young people with SEND or other additional learning needs.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and guide learners towards greater independence.
• Flexibility to work variable hours during term time.
