About the role
Manchester Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Business and Law is seeking a Lecturer to join the Department of Marketing, International Business and Tourism. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate International Business programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures, seminars and assessments for International Business modules.
- Integrate real‑world international business cases, policy contexts and strategic decision‑making into teaching.
- Provide personal tutoring and academic guidance to students.
- Collaborate with the subject team to enhance curriculum and maintain quality standards.
- Contribute to research and professional development activities, including pursuit of HEA Fellowship.
Required profile
- Significant industry experience in international or multinational business environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate professional practice into effective teaching.
- Experience teaching International Marketing is highly desirable.
- PhD or equivalent professional experience.
Required skills
- Expertise in sustainability, foreign direct investment, trade blocs, cross‑cultural business management, and multinational enterprise strategy.
