About the role
You will act as a Legal Cashier, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations while supporting fee earners and the wider finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Process BACS payments.
- Handle disbursements and transfers.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Support fee earners with finance queries.
Required profile
- Experience as a legal cashier or similar finance role (e.g., accounts payable).
- Understanding of SRA Accounts Rules.
- Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, service‑focused approach.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with Proclaim or a similar case‑management system.
- ILFM qualification (or willingness to work towards it) for long‑term development.
