Legal Counsel

About the role

This position offers the chance to shape and expand the legal function at the core of a fast‑growing global business. Reporting to the Legal Director, Commercial, the Legal Counsel will support commercial activities across Marketing & Innovation, Global Accounts, IT, Procurement and IP management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, competent legal advice to the Group Marketing & Innovation and Global Accounts teams.
• Review, negotiate and manage high‑value, multi‑jurisdiction commercial contracts with the Group’s largest customers.
• Draft and negotiate third‑party agreements, NDAs, material transfer agreements and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Support new product development, offering marketing claims advice and protecting brand IP.
• Advise the Group IT function on AI regulation, maintain the GenAI & AI policy, and support IoT product initiatives.
• Assist Group Procurement by reviewing supplier terms, updating procurement policies and advising on data‑privacy matters.
• Oversee the global IP portfolio, including acquisition, renewal and protection of trademarks and patents.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver accurate and prompt commercial legal advice.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance and intellectual property.
• Familiarity with AI‑related legal issues and data‑privacy regulations.
