Legal Executive Assistant – Asset/Project Finance & Business Development

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports the Global Head of Business Development in the Asset/Project Finance team. You will provide high‑level executive assistance, manage project‑related tasks and help drive business development initiatives across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with a varied and demanding workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Support and project‑manage international sector initiatives, maintaining progress and continuity.
• Conduct detailed research, data analysis and prepare documents for sector and business development activities.
• Produce high‑quality presentations, pitch decks and client‑facing materials.
• Coordinate business development projects, tracking actions, deadlines and deliverables.
• Provide diary and meeting management, scheduling key stakeholder sessions.
• Organise sector meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and circulate actions.
• Lead logistics for major sector trips and conferences, including travel booking, invoicing and budget management.
• Maintain BD databases, add matters and pitches, and compile deal information for legal directories.
• Create first drafts of Compass entries for the BD Lead.
• Manage sector email groups and keep SharePoint and Ignition sites up‑to‑date.
• Handle highly confidential information with discretion.

Required profile

• Experience supporting Business Development, sector, or professional services teams.
• Proven ability to prepare pitch materials and client development documentation.
• Interest in international business development and sector‑focused work.
