Legal Finance Assistant

About the role

We are recruiting for a Legal Finance Assistant to join a leading international law firm in London. The role is permanent and hybrid, supporting daily financial operations within the firm’s client accounts team.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and process invoices, prepare client bills and provide end‑to‑end billing support.
• Monitor accounts receivable, maintain Excel tracking sheets and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with accounts payable, expense submission and ledger/journal maintenance.
• Support financial analytics, reporting and documentation, including time‑entry narratives.
• Provide administrative assistance and ensure client accounts comply with SRA regulations.

Required profile

• Broad finance experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, client‑focused team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
