About the role

An established law firm in Gravesend is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Private Client team. This full‑time, office‑based position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment where high‑quality work is valued.

Key responsibilities

• Audio dictation and accurate typing
• Copy‑typing and preparing legal documents
• Corresponding with clients professionally
• Handling client enquiries
• Opening and closing client files
• Filing and general secretarial duties
• Providing dedicated support to the Private Client team

Required profile

• 3‑4 years' experience within a Private Client legal environment
• Previous experience supporting busy fee earners
• Excellent audio typing and copy‑typing skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and professional approach
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently
