Legal Technology Specialist

About the role

Birketts LLP is seeking a Legal Technology Specialist to join its IT team and work closely with the Corporate Services Division. You will act as the bridge between lawyers and technology, helping to digitise and optimise legal workflows across multiple practice groups.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with lawyers to identify technology needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Implement and configure document management systems, case management software, and AI‑driven tools.
• Provide training and support to legal teams on new platforms and processes.
• Demonstrate the capabilities of emerging legal tech and ensure effective adoption.
• Assist in the development of automated document drafting and review workflows.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or former corporate/commercial/employment lawyer with a strong understanding of legal processes.
• Passion for leveraging technology to improve efficiency in a legal environment.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between IT and legal professionals.
