Legionella Consultant – Environmental Services

About the role

Join an established compliance consultancy as a Legionella Consultant within the Environmental Services team. You will deliver high‑quality risk assessments, audits and technical advice to a varied client base while working in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments and audits on domestic hot and cold water systems and evaporative cooling systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and upload them to client management systems within agreed timeframes.
• Collect microbiological samples and coordinate analysis with partner laboratories.
• Collaborate with AutoCAD contractors to ensure accurate schematic diagrams are produced.
• Balance time between on‑site visits and home‑based report writing, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Degree in Science or Engineering (advantageous).
• Minimum three years’ experience in Legionella management and control.
• Strong knowledge of current legislation and guidance.
• Consultancy experience, including the preparation of schematic diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
