Legionella Risk Assessor – £35k-£40k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor with strong cooling‑tower expertise to join an employee‑owned environmental risk management consultancy. You will work on high‑profile projects for blue‑chip commercial, nuclear, defence, healthcare and critical infrastructure clients across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake Legionella risk assessments in line with current UK guidance and industry best practice.
• Carry out complex assessments of cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems.
• Produce high‑quality technical reports and deliver practical recommendations to clients.
• Provide expert advice on water safety and risk management to a broad range of prestigious organisations.
• Travel to client sites across the United Kingdom as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Demonstrable experience assessing cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 and current Legionella guidance.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
