Legionella Risk Assessor – Yorkshire

About the role

An established environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join its growing team in Yorkshire. With nearly 30 years of industry experience and a workforce of almost 150 employees, the company is a leading provider of environmental compliance and risk management services in the UK. Key responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and HTM 04‑01.
• Produce detailed risk assessment reports, including recommendations, management plans, control schemes and schematic drawings.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients on water hygiene matters.
• Assist with water hygiene monitoring, maintenance and testing activities when required.
• Complete site inspections and reports using electronic survey software.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or in a similar role.
• City & Guilds or equivalent accredited Legionella Risk Assessment qualification.
• Previous experience carrying out water hygiene maintenance, servicing and testing.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, Water Regulations and associated guidance.
• Confidence using tablets and electronic reporting systems.
