Leisure Duty Manager – Lead Operations in Hedge End

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Leisure Duty Manager to oversee daily operations across busy leisure, fitness and sports facilities in Hedge End. You will ensure smooth service delivery, high standards of safety and customer satisfaction while supporting membership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day running of leisure centres, swimming pools and fitness suites.
• Supervise, coach and develop operational and instructor staff during shifts.
• Maintain health and safety compliance across all facilities.
• Support swim school programme delivery, promotion and expansion.
• Implement customer engagement initiatives to drive membership retention.
• Ensure facilities are clean, secure and presentable for visitors.
• Coordinate sports programmes and community events.

Required profile

• Experience in leisure centre or sports facility management.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
