Lettings Client Accountant

About the role

Join a respected estate agency in South West London as a Lettings Client Accountant. You will work within the Property Management team, supporting landlords and tenants while ensuring accounts are accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Chase outstanding rent payments from tenants.
• Communicate with landlords and tenants to resolve account queries.
• Negotiate realistic payment plans and minimise arrears.
• Liaise with overseas and UK‑based landlords.
• Maintain accurate client account records.
• Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
• Collaborate closely with the Property Management team to resolve issues quickly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential client accounting, property management accounts or estate agency credit control.
• Excellent communication skills, confident speaking with landlords and tenants.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Proactive approach to resolving outstanding payments.
• Team‑focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
