Lettings Lister

About the role

John D Wood is seeking a Lettings Lister for its Chiswick office in London. You will join a professional team with deep knowledge of the local residential letting market and a strong reputation built over 150 years.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and register new applicants.
• Maintain regular contact with landlords and applicants, recording all communications.
• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with clients.
• Arrange, organise and conduct property viewings.
• Negotiate offers on behalf of clients.
• Develop an in‑depth understanding of the local market.
• Collaborate with the manager to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve daily and weekly performance targets.
• Work across departments and refer business where appropriate.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Professional, ambitious and enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong rapport‑building and relationship‑development skills.
• Capable of performing under pressure in a fast‑changing environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Full, clean driving licence.
