Lettings Negotiator – Estate Agent

About the role

We are recruiting a Lettings Negotiator for an established independent estate agency in Leatherhead. The role involves matching landlords with suitable tenants, managing viewings, and supporting the full lettings process.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to landlords and tenants.
• Liaise between landlords and prospective tenants.
• Provide up‑to‑date advice and information on properties.
• Conduct property viewings and book appointments.
• Negotiate lettings contracts and register applicants.
• Generate new business and build market share.
• Stay current with compliance, legislation and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months lettings experience or a strong trainee with excellent customer‑service/sales skills.
• UK resident, ideally living within a 30‑minute commute of Leatherhead.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal car.

What we offer

• Basic salary £18,000‑£20,000 plus OTE up to £30,000 (DOE).
• Monday‑Thursday 8:45‑18:00, Friday 8:45‑17:00, every other Saturday 9:00‑16:00 with a weekday off.
• Five‑day working week with pooled commission.
• Parking available on site.
