Lettings Negotiator

About the role

Our client in Loughton is seeking a tenacious and enthusiastic Lettings Negotiator to join a vibrant, growing business. Key responsibilities

• Register applicant enquiries and match tenants with residential properties.
• Arrange and conduct viewings with prospective tenants.
• Negotiate tenancy terms and liaise directly with landlords.
• Perform reference and credit checks.
• Update and maintain files, ensuring tenancy agreements and terms of business are correct.
• Build and maintain strong landlord and tenant relationships.
• Progress tenancies efficiently from offer acceptance through to completion.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries.
• Promote property listings through digital portals and marketing channels.

Required profile

• 6 to 12 months of residential lettings experience as a Lettings Negotiator.
• Solid understanding of UK lettings legislation and tenancy procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client‑facing skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Target‑driven with a focus on achieving competitive KPIs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
