Level 2 Gymnastics Coach (Full/Part Time)

About the role

GLL is seeking enthusiastic gymnastics coaches to join the team at Sobell Leisure Centre in Holloway. You will deliver high‑quality gymnastics sessions across a range of disciplines, helping pupils develop their skills in a safe and fun environment. This role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time hours and a clear pathway for career progression within a charitable social enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain gymnastics equipment for each session.
• Deliver first‑class customer service and respond to participant queries.
• Teach gymnastics at various levels, ensuring lessons are safe, progressive and enjoyable.
• Complete registers and participant assessments using GLL iPads.
• Assist with warm‑up and cool‑down routines.
• Support the assessment process, including award schemes and skills matrices.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians as required.
• For Level 1 coaches (18+), take overall responsibility for lesson delivery.

Required profile

• A can‑do attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
• Passion for gymnastics and the ability to inspire pupils.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Team‑player who works well with colleagues.
• Qualified at Level 1, 2 or 3 (training available for those wishing to progress).
