About the role
We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Stockport from September 2026. The role is full‑time and long‑term, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) within the school’s dedicated provision.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to children with SEND in classroom and small‑group settings.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources.
- Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
Required profile
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary school.
- Resilient, proactive and compassionate attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
