Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner – Flexible Supply Work

About the role

We are looking for qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our flexible supply team across nurseries in Southwark and surrounding areas of South East London. This role offers the freedom to choose when and where you work while supporting children aged 0‑5 in high‑quality Early Years settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps and outdoor play.
• Foster social, emotional and communication skills in a nurturing environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery setting.
• Collaborate with existing nursery teams to ensure high‑quality care and education.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Caring, enthusiastic, reliable attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible approach and genuine passion for supporting young children.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
