Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Canada Water

About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established early years provider in Canada Water, South East London. The role offers a permanent, full‑time position supporting children from infancy to preschool age in a vibrant, multicultural setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS.
- Create stimulating activities that foster curiosity, creativity and independence.
- Act as a designated Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress to inform next steps in learning.
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive nursery environment.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are met at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance outcomes for all children.
- Contribute to planning that celebrates diversity, language development and cultural awareness.
Required profile
- Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children’s learning and development.
- Positive attitude, strong team ethic and commitment to continuous professional development.
