About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our early years setting in Ellesmere Port on a part‑time, temporary basis. This position offers a gentle entry point for someone ready to make an immediate, positive impact on young children’s learning and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Support high‑quality provision in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Work alongside teachers to assist with observations and child development tracking.
- Encourage early communication, social skills and independence.
- Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times.
Required profile
- A full Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Sound knowledge of child development and early years practice.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and Teacher Standards.
- A calm, flexible and nurturing approach.
- Ability to step in confidently and make a positive impact from day one.
