About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Nursery Assistant to join our inclusive, child‑centred nursery in Gloucester. This role offers the chance to support young children during their most formative years and to develop your early years education experience in a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Support children aged 0‑5 in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with play‑based learning activities and daily routines.
• Promote social, emotional and communication development.
• Maintain an engaging and inclusive setting.
• Collaborate closely with staff and parents to monitor each child’s progress.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for early years education and childcare.
• Patient, caring and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
