Level 3 Network Voice Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Network Voice Engineer to join a well‑established technical environment in Gloucester. The role focuses on enterprise voice technologies while also interacting with the broader network estate. You will work on‑site a few days a week in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot and enhance critical voice services across the organisation.
• Maintain and optimise Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Call Manager environments.
• Work with Cisco UCCE and Microsoft Teams telephony solutions.
• Contribute to the enterprise voice infrastructure design and implementation.
• Collaborate with wider networking teams, including LAN, data networking and firewall domains where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior (Level 3) voice engineer with strong hands‑on expertise.
• Ability to clearly articulate past voice projects and personal contributions.
• Willingness to participate in a 1‑in‑4 on‑call rota and obtain security clearance.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum.
• Approximately £4,000 annual on‑call allowance.
• Hybrid working – 2 to 3 days per week in Gloucester.
• Permanent contract with security clearance requirement.
