Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Balham (Early Years Educator)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Educator/Montessori Teacher to join our vibrant preschool in Balham from September. You will work with a small group of key children, delivering child‑led learning experiences that follow both the Montessori curriculum and the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Key Person for an assigned group of children.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, activities and outings.
• Maintain detailed learning journeys, observations and assessments.
• Support each child's development in line with EYFS and Montessori principles.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience working in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Professional appearance and commitment to high standards.
• Genuine passion for young children’s learning and development.
