Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Early Years Educator

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our unique, outdoor‑focused nursery in Brockworth, near Cheltenham. The role involves supporting children aged 0‑5 years to explore, learn and develop confidence through nature‑based activities, either on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Foster curiosity, creativity and independence through outdoor learning.
• Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families and recording developmental progress.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, encouraging appropriate risk‑taking.
• Assist with meals, personal care and daily routines.
• Collaborate with the team, parents and external professionals.

Required profile

• Full Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent).
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified practitioners).
• Passion for outdoor learning and child development.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
