Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Outdoor Early Years Educator

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our unique, outdoor‑focused nursery in Cheltenham. The role involves supporting children aged 0‑5 to learn through nature‑based activities, delivering the EYFS curriculum and fostering curiosity and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, nature‑based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families and recording developmental progress.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, encouraging appropriate risk‑taking outdoors.
- Assist with meals, personal care and daily routines, supporting children throughout the day.
- Collaborate with the team, liaise with parents and external professionals as needed.
Required profile
- Full Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent).
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified).
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
