Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Supply Work in Gloucester

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to provide flexible, supply‑based support across a range of nurseries in Gloucester. This temporary role offers the chance to work in varied early years settings while fitting around your personal schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Support children aged 0‑5 in safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments.
• Deliver high‑quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Adapt quickly to different nursery routines and settings.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Maintain safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Flexible, positive and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and health & safety standards.
