Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Leckhampton, Cheltenham

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our well‑established early years setting in Leckhampton, Cheltenham. You will work with children aged 0‑2, creating a warm, stimulating environment where each child can explore, learn and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
• Lead nursery rhymes, songs, stories and imaginative play sessions.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe and monitor busy little learners, supporting their development and wellbeing.
• Facilitate messy play, outdoor activities and creative learning experiences.
• Read stories, organise pretend tea parties and celebrate children’s creativity.
• Maintain a positive, humorous attitude and contribute to a collaborative team spirit.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
• Experience working with children aged 0‑2 in a nursery setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• A full driving licence is advantageous.
