Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Toddler Room (Westerham)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our toddler room (2‑3 years) in the heart of Westerham. The role involves supporting children’s learning and development, delivering high‑quality care and creating a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive. Candidates with a Level 2 qualification are also welcome, with the opportunity to progress to Level 3 through supported training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 2‑3 years.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and independence.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, caring and reliable with a genuine passion for early years education.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to providing children with the best possible start.
• Willingness to work as part of a supportive team and undertake CPD.

What we offer

• £14.25 per hour (£29,640 per annum) for Level 3 practitioners on a 40‑hour week.
• Level 2 candidates can start at £11–£13 per hour while training for Level 3.
