Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Watford)

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery in Watford. You will work with children aged 0‑5 years, delivering high‑quality early years education and supporting their development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 0–5.
• Plan and deliver play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess and record each child's progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Promote wellbeing, independence and confidence in every child.

Required profile

• Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care and education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to plan and facilitate play‑based learning activities.
• Observational and record‑keeping skills for child progress.
