Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship – Full-time (Leeds)

About the role

This 11‑month, fully funded apprenticeship offers a paid, full‑time position as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in a welcoming primary school setting in Leeds. You will earn while you learn, gaining a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and clear progression to Level 4 HLTA.

Key responsibilities

• Support children individually and in small groups.
• Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and play‑based learning activities.
• Help manage behaviour, engagement and classroom routines.
• Support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources and classroom activities.

Required profile

• Commitment to an 11‑month apprenticeship.
• GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or higher (preferred).
• Enthusiasm for working with young children and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check (support provided).
• Not currently enrolled on another government‑funded course.
