Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2

About the role

Join a supportive school environment in the Wirral as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2. You will work one‑to‑one with a SEND child, helping the teacher manage daily routines and learning activities while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑2‑1 support to a KS2 child, assisting with academic tasks and personal development.
• Assist small groups of pupils when required, reinforcing lesson objectives.
• Help modify challenging behaviour by creating engaging and structured learning experiences.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to follow lesson plans and classroom procedures.

Required profile

• Holding a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 3).
• Proactive, supportive attitude with a genuine passion for education.
• Confidence working with children of varying abilities and needs.
• Strong communication skills, patience and the ability to follow teacher directions.
• Flexibility to adapt to part‑time, full‑time or term‑time schedules.
