About the role
We are recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support the Pre‑School class of a community primary school in Bishop’s Stortford from September to December 2026. The role is ideal for creative, proactive individuals who enjoy bringing learning to life in an early‑years setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the standards and research concerning the impact of Teaching Assistants in early‑years education.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils, encouraging engagement and progress.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or an equivalent credential.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years or Pre‑School environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team, using initiative when required.
Required skills
- Understanding of Early Years teaching standards.
