Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (South Liverpool)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in South Liverpool from September 2026. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Deliver targeted small‑group interventions in Maths, English, Reading and Phonics.
• Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Help with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Recent experience working within a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confidence delivering intervention sessions to small groups.
• Positive and consistent approach to behaviour management.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting children’s education.
